hello everyone ~
          
          as you can probably see, i may have flooded your notifications with updates from ‘the call of war’ because i have officially posted the rewritten chapters for the first act!! as i write this, i am also proud of stay i am half way done with rewriting the second act as well, as like i said in a previous update, i found that i was a little more satisfied with the way those chapters turned out, and just needed to tweak and edit them rather than completely rewrite them like i did with act one. the rewrite is moving quickly, and i hope to have it finished here soon.
          
          other updates: i am FINALLY returning to my lo’ak fanfic that i began so long ago, ‘treacherous’. i’m super excited for what i have planned for the story, and i plan on publishing the first bit here soon. i also have chapter outlines drafted up, as well a rough draft as to how i want the entire story to play out, and let’s just say, im super satisfied with what i have!! honestly, (and i can’t believe im saying this) im liking the plot of ‘treacherous’ more than i enjoyed the plot for ‘the call of war’, so if you’re looking for an enemies to lovers story or a story following an adult timeline of the characters from atwaw, then ‘treacherous’ is for you!! 
          
          anyway, that is all i have for now. i’m really on an inspiration kick, so expect a lot of things coming soon in the next few weeks! :)

hello everyone ~
          
          just a small update about the rewriting progress for ‘the call of war’! i have officially finished rewriting the first act, which came out to be 28k words (holy crap). however, i am noticing that i am rewriting it a little a slower than i originally planned. because of that, i will be very slow with updating the actual rewritten version of the story. i am just super busy with working almost 40 hours a week and hanging out with friends before going back to college, so i dont have as much time to dedicate to rewriting. along with that, sometimes i just don’t have the inspiration, and i dont want to force myself to write if it isn’t coming to me, as i feel like that is a one way ticket to burning myself out once again. though, i just wanted to come on here and say the rewrite is actually happening! it is in progress, i promise! hopefully, even though acts two and three are longer, they won’t take as long to rewrite, as i feel like the later chapters, where i began to find my groove and my voice, require less attention. anywho, just trying to keep you guys updated and not letting you all sit in the dark like i did last time. i am not abandoning this story/rewrite, i promise!
          
          along with that, i think i may also begin writing some of my other stories as well, like my aemond one, as well as my lo’ak one which i unpublished a long time ago and never republished. i think if i start writing those, it’ll grant me new ideas and inspiration, and hopefully fuel the rewrite as well.

          i just wanted to come on here and say HAPPY AFAA TRAILER DAY!! it feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity for this day. i got see it a couple days early in theaters for the fantastic four, but i just rewatched it again and it still looks just as stunning. so so excited for it :))

hello everyone ~
          
          i have some great news! if you go look at ‘the call of war’, i am proud to say i have rewritten the first three chapters (hurray)!! like i mentioned previously in the rewritten chapter of ‘the call of war’, rewritten chapters will have a little ‘ ️’ next to the chapter title to signify it is a rewritten version, until i get all the chapters rewritten. i wanted to go ahead and post a few of the written ones now, as i feel very accomplished and happy with the way those ones turned out, and i was super excited to share them with you all! all together, those three chapters alone add up to 11k words, so i am happy to say the story already feels more fleshed out, which was what i was going for.
          
          if you read the original story and decide to read the rewritten version, you will find that some things have changed! either small plot points, new scenes/edited scenes, and a few other things. like i said, i really wanted to take my time with this and really try to flesh out the story in a way i am much happier with, which i think i succeeded! please let me know your thoughts on the changes, as i love hearing from you guys.
          
          that is all for now, and please be on the look out for more rewritten chapters in the future. i’m super happy with the direction the story is now taking, and i hope you all like it as well :)

hello everyone ~
          
          for those of you who remember me, hi! for those of you who don’t, hello to you too :).
          
          i just wanted to make a small announcement that i republished ‘the call of war’ for those of you who may miss it or wondered where it went! i posted awhile back that i wanted to rewrite it, which is still true! however, at the time, i ended up not rewriting and, in all honesty, felt quite embarrassed by the poor quality of writing i found it to be.
          
          after some reflection, however, ive realized that i am my harshest critic, and there are those out there that still really enjoyed the story, despite my thoughts on it! therefore, i republished it. 
          
          i still haven’t decided if i will completely rewrite it. as much as i want to, and with how excited i am with avatar 3 in december, it feels fitting to rewrite it. on the other hand, i don’t have the same motivation and passion i once had with that story. since writing that story two years ago, i have graduated high school and finished my first year of college, so to me, i have outgrown that story. though, as an english major who has already learned so much in her first of university, i feel like i have so many new ideas and ways of writing that i can implement into the story. for now, we will see how i feel. i plan on opening my old documents and drafts and seeing what i can gather from there, and then ALSO write everything before i announce i have rewritten it. this is no promise, but i hope future me pulls through and creates something even more invigorating and thoughtful than what i wrote 2 years ago.
          
          with that being said, i may also publish the story on ao3 if i decide to rewrite it, and in all honesty, may transition completely to over there.
          
          anyway, hello again, and hopefully you will be hearing from me once more soon enough :).

          yes, hi, i am alive and well, and i also have some news!
          
          recently, i have started taking a new writing class for school, and this new writing class has inspired me to actually start writing again. it has been a minute since my lovely hands have crafted a story, and i am excited to return (and hopefully not suddenly disappear like i did last time).
          
          first of all, i want to rewrite "the call of war." there are quite a few moments in that story that i am just not proud of, and i think i could have done just a much better job at writing if i didn't rush so fast to finish writing the story (i literally wrote it in like 3 weeks... so it could use improvement). what i plan to do is rewrite each act of the story one at a time, because the idea of rewriting the entire story feels a little daunting, and i do not want to overwhelm myself. also, i dont plan on changing too much from the story, but more of just making it flow a little better. i feel like there are a few choppy moments, so i just want to smooth those out. 
          
          as for my aemond story, i think im going to take that story down for now. i wrote the first chapter awhile ago and just never finished it, but its not something i want to focus on right now (even though i loved how that prologue turned out).
          
          and then finally, eventually, i want to get around to writing my own original story when i finally get over how overwhelming it feels. it has always been a dream of mine, and ive had so many ideas for it just sitting in my head for almost two years now, so i want to start drafting that and maybe even get around to posting a few chapters on here if i feel confident enough with it.
          
          so yeah, that is my not so little update for you guys. a lot of you guys follow me from "the call of war" so hopefully you guys are excited to read the new and improved story!

          it’s update time!
          
          first of all, i republished treacherous (yayyy). i’m currently rewriting the first chapter (i’m about 2,000 words) so hopefully after i finish some school work i’ll be able to write some more! also, i now have a solid idea for what i want to do, so that’s why i republished it.
          
          second of all, i also published my new aemond story as well (yayyyy). i haven’t written anything for it, but i definitely plan to write something soon. even though i don’t have anything for it other than the introduction part with the characters and content warnings, i still wanted to publish it just to have it my profile because i’m so excited for it.
          
          finally, new theme and ideas!! in honor of publishing my new aemond story, i thought i’d go for a little hotd theme. i plan on writing both my aemond story and lo’ak story at the same, as well as working and doing school work, so expect slow updates. i’m really sad i can’t write as much as i would want, but i’m hoping you guys will still enjoy my stories even if i don’t update everyday like i used to! i’m gonna aim for about a chapter a week for each story, but school could get a little taxing, so that might change. for now, a chapter a week is the goal.
          
          so yeah, that’s all i have to say! i hope you guys are just as excited as i am for all the stuff i have going on and i will talk to you all in the next update!

          so little update~ i unpublished treacherous because, like i said before, i really want to take my time with writing that story. right now, i’m trying to figure out how i want to write the oc without her coming off as annoying basically. i want to make her more morally grey, and just the story as a whole a more mature one, but i want to do some research about writing tips and just take a minute to think about how i want to do that. like i said, i want the oc to come off as morally grey, not annoying, but i just need to figure out how to do it first. a lot of the main plot points of treacherous may change with this, so if you’ve read it and i republish it, expect some things to be a little different (or completely different depending on which route i go). so yeah, i’m gonna take some time to plot some ideas, write some notes about the story and the characters and just get to know my own story before i start writing it. that’s all i wanted to say! i don’t know when i’ll have treacherous up again. who knows, maybe i’ll figure it out all in one night and have it up again the next day, or i may take weeks to really think about it. but for now, treacherous will be unpublished while i brainstorm.

          omg (crying face). i just marked ‘the call of war’ as complete, it feels so surreal. i’m super satisfied with the ending (i started tearing up a little bit while writing it) but im so sad that it’s also now over!! im gonna miss these characters so much, and i really hope you guys are going to miss them as well. i might write an epilogue for the story, but as of right now, ‘the call of war’ is complete.
          
          new things are coming, though! im super excited for my lo’ak story; however, i do plan to take my time with writing it. i want to have longer chapters for that story, and i really want to be patient with writing it, which means updates will not be every day like ‘the call of war’. on the bright side, longer periods of times between updates means longer chapters when i post, so you win some you lose some. also, i am starting school again (today was my first day back and i already want to break down. college sucks), so that is another reason why i will not be posting as much. anyways, i hope you guys loved ‘the call of war’ and please look forward to ‘treacherous.’

          i just posted chapter thirty seven of ‘the call of war’ (for those who have read it, please don’t hate me, thanks! <3) anyways, ‘the call of war’ is approaching the end. i know, so sad. there’s probably only about maybe two or three chapters left (depending on if i do an epilogue)? i am very heartbroken about this, because this series is very dear to my heart (i find myself tearing up while writing), and i am sad to see it coming to an end, but i am also very proud of it and glad i can say that i actually completed a story for once. but yeah, that’s the update from me. i really, really hope you guys love the story just as much i as do, and i will have the final chapters for the story up here in the next few days!!
