I've posted a spam book :) the first chapter isn't as cheery as I always imagined my first chapter to be but that's life, isn't it? You can read it if you want to, no need to feel pressured.

Maybe an unpopular opinion here but see when people delete their stories only a few hours after posting them because they don't have comments, it really annoys me. Don't try and make other people feel bad for having lives and commitments outside of wattpad. I have been inactive and absent on here for so long but I've been so stressed with uni and had a lot going on outside of wattpad. People don't deserve to feel guilty over it. I get that they put a lot of work and effort into it but it's literally a hobby. If you enjoy it, great! Keep going because you're improving day by day but if you're not enjoying it and only doing it for other people's validation, why? You might need to rethink it all. Anyway, rant over. If you want to argue about this, go ahead but I won't argue back. I've had enough shit going on in my life that I couldn't care less. Peace.

Been away for a loooong time but I've been quietly lurking every so often. I've seen a lot of people be disappointed with the lack of comments on their stories recently. I totally understand why this is upsetting, particularly when someone puts so much effort into what they do. For me, writing was always done for my own enjoyment and if somebody else loved it, great! If they didn't, I tried not to dwell on it because it was what I loved. Please note that if you are a reader, some authors value comments more than votes and it really helps them interact with their audience (I know they love doing that!). It also helps them feel encouraged as sometimes, writing can feel a little bit lonely.

I also need to vent! There's this guy that I really like. He plays for a local-ish football team on loan from a club in London. He's super attractive, super talented and super nice. I bumped into him, out and about recently (as you do) and that man is so much more attractive in person. He was so nice about it, helping me pick up the books that I had dropped (sorry to my uni library) and made sure I was okay. I was in a rush otherwise I would have asked for his Snapchat or something. I know his instagram user but I don't have the guts to message him :'( help a girl out?

ntamacks-

do what i've never had the guts to - start a convo! i know it seems very nervewracking (and it is), but maybe start the convo w something like 'hi, i'm the girl you met/ saw at xyz :)' and see what he says? i'm v bad at things like this so can't be a massive help (i'm still trying to figure out my own guy situation atm), so i all i can really say is do what feels right and don't force it. i hope it goes well! <3

@marcusrashford- hey girlie! i know instagram dm’s can be scary, but just try to start a nice, smooth conversation with him on there. Just try to get to know each other a bit better and ask his snap if the convo is going as you’ve expected. don’t do it from the jump and just try and go along with the vibe. as a guy i know that’s what guys usually like/i think it’s the best way to persuade a guy. i hope it helps out and you can always send me a pm, for now good luck girl because u deserve it❤️

I've been away for some time (I'm sorry but life has been hectic) and again, I have some things I need to say. In light of everything that has happened regarding Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa, two lives that were taken far too soon, women's safety has been a topic that everyone has been talking about. It's crazy to think that it is so ingrained into our culture to make sure that it's women who take protective measures. We take protective measures such as walking on well lit streets, making phone calls, wearing bright clothing and not wearing both earphones to name a few. But why? Why is it us that have to be so vigilant and careful? For too long we have been suppressed but how about the men? They should be educated and held accountable for their actions. The thought of Wayne Couzens makes me feel physically sick but he is just one man that has been held accountable out of goodness knows how many others. We're supposed to 'just speak up' and 'just say no' but he was a Police officer for The Met. How are we supposed to protect ourselves from the very ones who are supposed to protect us? The sad message is that you're not safe unless you're a white, straight, cis male. To anyone that isn't a white, straight, cis male, I am with you, I will believe you and I stand with you ❤️

I've spent the past few days reflecting on this and trying to find a way to word this message without coming across as a total bitch but I kind of don't care anymore. I'm absolutely sick and tired of being abused by Celtic and Rangers fans. I'm sick and tired of being called derogatory names by Rangers fans that I won't repeat because I would never dream of calling another person by those names. I'm still unsure about my religion but my mum is a practicing Catholic and I go to Church with her every Sunday when the pandemic isn't here. Why is sectarianism so normalised? Don't come at me telling me that it's not all Celtic and Rangers fans because I know that it's not but if you're a fan of one of those clubs and you witness this horrific abuse but stand by and do nothing, you're as bad as the people who give it. You have a responsibility to report people for doing this, you have a responsibility to educate other people in the fan base and you have a responsibility to discourage this behaviour. Celtic and Rangers can't be united against bigotry when their fans sing disgusting songs and call people derogatory names based on their religion or club that they support. The clubs don't control their fans and the SPFL do nothing about it because it's how they get their money. Imagine it being 2021 and people still want to make money by suppressing others? Wrong century. I'm sorry for the long rant but I am absolutely sick to death of all of this. Too many times I've been attacked on Twitter and Instagram and too many times, when I've visited Scotland, have I been attacked by their fans and even scared to attend my own ground. Enough is enough.

marcusrashford-

@benschilwell thanks so much, honey. I really appreciate that. I'd like to reiterate that it's not all fans and every fan base has issues with their own supporters but thank you so much ❤️

@marcusrashford- i just came across your page, and from a celtic fan it is absolutely outrageous how some of our 'fans' act, its horrible. we should all be allowed to support our team without getting shit for it.

this needs to stop, if you ever need anything feel free to message x

Hi! Sorry for going awol, I had some family stuff going on so I hope to update 'Sunsets' soon buuuut, I've got an idea that I want to suggest to you all! What if we started a football fanfic book club? I could set up a discord server and every month, we read a football fanfic from wattpad and at the end of each month, we can share our thoughts on it? It would be a very positive and safe space, no hating etc. What do you guys think? You can suggest books via my dms if you'd like?
