Is this just me, or does anyone else hate it when their bsf gets into a new relationship?
You’re happy that they’re happy, but at the same time you miss hanging out with them and kinda wish they were spending time with you instead of their new s/o.

lupin_217

Then ofc you feel guilty about feeling that way, especially if their new s/o is a good person

I’ve been reading a lot of Marvel/Avengers fanfics and have had a thought.
Some fanfics warn about a age gap between y/n and whatever character, mainly Tony Stark, Loki, Thor, and Bucky.
          However…
Loki is Asgardian/Jontiem and ages much slower than humans. If you take that into account, then there might not be as much of an age difference as you think.
Even though Bucky is originally from the 40s, but he was frozen for a lot of that time. So would the years he was frozen at HYDRA really count as “aging” since he was kinda literally frozen in time?
Just something I’ve been pondering for a while now

What about Tony though? He has no excuse for age gap.

Attention fellow writers!!! Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to plot out a story??? Like a way to figure out and show yourself where you want your story to go before you get too far in actually writing???
Been trying to figure out how to do it off and on for a few years now and still can’t figure out what would/could work best for me. Whether it’s apps or taping stuff to a wall, any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever found a song that just perfectly describes exactly what you want in your life? I have. :-)
"Messed Up" by Once monsters and Chloe Adams is the most romantic song that I've ever heard. (It's even more romantic than "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran.) The lyrics perfectly describe the kind of love I want in my life on top of being almost exactly how I think of myself. If you haven't heard it, you should really look it up on Spotify.

You’re welcome.
Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” is always good. It’s not really what I normally listen to, but it’s still a good love song. Very romantic.
Only other thing I can recommend is listen to the songs that Spotify recommends based on what you put in a play list. That’s how I found “Messed Up” and a good 75-80% of the music I’ve been listening to lately. Not all of them are perfect, but there’s definitely some good stuff in the Spotify recommendations.

Anyone else ever have days (or a series of days) when your entire mindset is something along the lines of "*insert vivid curse word(s)*, I don't wanna deal with anything" or is it just me? Cuz it's only Tuesday, and it's already shaping up to be that kind of week

Hello, everyone! I have a question for anyone who went to school/grew up somewhere other than the USA.
I've lived in the USA my whole life, and I'm studying to be a public school teacher in the southeast USA public education system.
Recently, I've been thinking a lot about the whole STEM idea (anyone in the USA education system will possibly know what I'm talking about). STEM emphasizes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. A lot of schools in the USA (from my experience) focus a lot of their resources on any subjects that fall under the STEM category. This leaves out the humanities.
I want to know... Is this just a USA thing? Or do schools in other countries also focus on STEM stuff?

lupin_217

Wow. Idk whether to be more impressed by the education system you’re describing or the acronyms themselves

@lupin_217 Actually... We had those stuff here in the Philippines. In SHS (Senior High School), we get to pick a strand; STEM, ABM, HUMSS, TVL-HELE, TVL-ICT, SPORTS, EDUC, Arts, etc. I'm on SHS, and I too, picked STEM as my strand. :D

Has anyone else ever thought about what would happen if someone from the southeastern USA became an Avenger and moved into Avengers Tower with everyone else?
          Think about it.
Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and even Peter Parker have spent a majority of not all of their lives in NYC. Wanda and Pietro Maximoff grew up in Sokovia. Bruce Banner is from Ohio. Thor and Loki are from Asgard. Natasha Romanoff is from Russia, and Vision is a semi-robot. The only person that would understand stuff like “y’all”, “ain’t”, “bless your heart”, and other southern sayings/accents is Sam Wilson since he’s from Louisiana.
Imagine the chaos that would happen if the new person was really angry and their accent got so thick and they used so many colloquialisms that literally no one could understand them and someone eventually called Sam so he could translate
