          hope you're doing great!
          
          so, well, just two days ago I told you I'd be no longer sending my story to the Wattys, but... Yesterday I decided I'd do it (even though I could still do it next year, presuming the date of publishing is the same, only a year later). And so yesterday, with the help and support of my parents, I sent the book! And it's done! So now we just have to wait for the results and the Shortlist and whatever. Yes, I know, there are pretty small chances for me to win or anything, but hey, I can still try. Also - again, assuming the eligibility rules change only the year of publishing - I can still try out next year too. And I'd probably have the whole story rewritten by then.
          ABOUT THAT. As I said last time, I wasn't expecting to publish very often, but now I just won't publish at all, I think. I don't really know how this stuff works, but I suppose it would be safer to keep the story as it is for now (it's all rewritten until Chapter 4; beyond that, it's the original), so the juries can read it as it is and everything. 
          Well, anyway, I guess it's all.

          so, as you might've realized, I've been a bit away from Wattpad lately. I've also been kinda away from other social media and all of that. I just had some stress stuff going on (which is now solved, don't worry) and I decided to take a break from all of this. I'm still kind of away from social media and I'm actually enjoying it a lot so I guess I'll keep it that way. 
          anyway, I came in here to say that I haven't been writing lately and that I just started writing again, but not as often. also, school has begun so I won't have as much time. this means my story is still at the same point as it was the last time I came in here. which is, well, the beginning. therefore, my Wattys plans are cancelled. I admit, I'd like to participate, but I don't have the time to write it all by now and I don't want to worry about stuff either, so I'll just shake it off, I guess.
          well, anyway, what this all means is that I'm kind of back in action, but uncommitted, so I apologize, but don't expect a lot of stuff coming. I'll just write when I have the time to, if I feel like it. 
          this doesn't mean I've forgotten y'all or this story! I'm just trying to be more free-spirited and unworried and calm and getting my mind off things that take too much of my time. also, as I said, school's begun and so has my martial arts activity and that'll keep me occupied for the next months. which is good, by the way! I needed this routine to get me back on track.

          so, if you've read my latest A/N in both my fics, you're probably aware of what's going on. if not, I'll explain now: so, I know I haven't been too active here, and haven't been posting a lot. and that's because I'm working on an original story. I'm also rewriting my first fic (The Daughter of the Murderer) because I feel like it could use some improvement, not to mention some plot holes I've found. I will still be writing the sequel, don't worry.
          anyway, I came here to say that I'll be prioritizing the rewriting of the fic and the original story, so updates on the sequel might take longer. 
          I really apologize, but I can't do everything simultaneously, so I need to sort out some priorities.

          I know it started yesterday, but I since I didn't have the time to do it then, I'm doing it now.
          
          LGBT Pride should be celebrated EVERY month. And, believe me, to the community, it is. But this month? This month is special and it CANNOT be taken away from the community.
          
          Remember, love is love; and as long as it's consentual and healthy, it's fine.
          
          You can be whoever the Helheim you wanna be. You don't have to be like they want you to. You don't have to rise up to their expectations. You don't have to be the way you're seen. Because, guess what?
          
          YOU DON'T OWE THEM SH!T
          
          And they don't own your life. 
          
          So be freakin yourself. Because that's fine. In fact, it's TOTALLY AWESOME.
          
          So keep on rockin this Pride Month and every other month.

My Dearest, Nifflers,
          This year is almost over; maybe it's already over for you, depending on where you live. 
          So I want to wish you a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 2021, full of dreams and craziness and all those good things 2020 lacked. Full of new fandoms and new fictional characters to fall in love with. Full of new movies and new books and new things to be obsessed with. 
          In short, a perfect year for loyal, crazy fans. Like all of us. 
          And I wish for you to never stop dreaming. Because dreaming, even with fictional stuff that will probably never happen, is our biggest source of hope. And never doubt of your abilities or back down just because someone tells you to. Don't live up to people's expectations, and don't mind what they think of you. 
          Like Janis (from the Broadway version of Mean Girls) said, "So raise your right finger and solemnly swear: whatever they say about me, I don't care".
          And, yes, I had to do a musical theatre reference, in case you didn't notice the comma after 'dearest' in the beginning. Because references to those franchises that make you happy every day are the best way to end a year.
