ik sum fucked shit was gonna happen he kept referencing that he would give everything for her ESPECIALLY in that book i was side dying it the whole time.
like as soon as he said “i love you” ik he was sacrificing himself because feyre couldn’t hold the cauldrons power alone and DIED FOR HER, held onto their tether, and LIT ER ALLY CRAWLED BACK TO HER.
i sobbed for an hour even after he came back to life because i was so butthurt

@PoppyMesh OH MY GOD ABSOLUTELY, take it from me because i am an exceptionally picky reader. the first book does give very damsel in distress vibes kind of not really, and the main character makes some dumbass decisions she shouldn’t have but the writing is PHENOMENAL. not super poetic or whatever but it gets the emotions going when they need to be. i went into this series knowing probably nothing about it and some guesses based off of videos ive seen and i couldn’t have been more wrong. there is a LOT of action scenes but if you’re looking for spice, it’s not what everyone says it is. there’s like maybe 2 scenes in the first book but it does get spicier after that. i will also say that the first book is the worst of the series but by no means does that mean it’s a bad book. you just have to read it in order to get to the rest, think of it as the sour surrounding the sweet of a candy. definitely recommend. very easy reads, great world building at a decent pace. the characters are easily loveable(idk abt nesta though she’s still growing on me). BUT YEAH PLS READ

i will personally stand by the fact that the hunger games kept our attention and was so amazing for the fact that katniss and peeta were never officially together until the very end. WE WERE THE ONES PINING THE WHOLE TIME. yes they loved each-other, but they weren’t TOGETHER.
