Literal Sugamama

So I'm probably twice the age of most people on here, which is kind of embarrassing, but by the same token I've not had an outlet for this kind of thing for a long time.  I've always been the type to literally fall into a story.  I've been writing fanfiction since before that was a word, but this is the first time I've done it on a computer, where anybody can read it.  I also write for a living, but not fiction, so bear with me here.  I write because I enjoy it, and most definitely not because I'm any good at it.  If you're looking for quality writing, you're barking up the wrong tree.  

Music defines my life in lots of ways, so you'll find a lot of musical references, but only if you're old enough or cool enough to be into music from quite a few decades ago.  Same with movie references, if you're old enough, you'll find them.  Might find the occasional reference to other anime, but not nearly as many, as that's a relatively new thing for me.

I know about 4 words in Japanese (okay, I can count to 5, I think, and maybe a few other  words, but you get the idea) so any attempt to use honorifics and such will be minimal and based on what I've learned from watching anime.  Similarly, my knowledge of Japanese culture is small, so I won't really try to include it much beyond what is shown in various anime.  

 I adore Haikyuu!! and created this account literally for the sole purpose of writing a fanfiction that's been growing in my head for awhile.  Will I write anything else?  No idea.  I also love Yuri on Ice!!!, Free! and Ouran High School Host Club...so who knows?  Also...my self esteem is bad enough without any help from the outside world, so to borrow from Tsukki (my favorite volleyball idiot) if you don't like this, stop reading and go somewhere else.  As Suga would say...Negativity...BEGONE!!
