In all honesty, it was quite depressing how little hospitals changed since the forties. Peggy had walked these same cooridors eighty years or so earlier. They even kept the pain killers in the same place, which was good. For one reason or another, morphine was a lot harder to get ahold of, especially without a prescription, and advil was no longer dulling the bullet hole in her side. She found that a hospital pharmacy was easier to 'borrow' medications from than the one on the corner of happy and healthy.

“ oh my god ! i’m so sorry , he doesn’t usually run up to people like that .” kate panted as she finally got hold of the leash of lucky the pizza dog , who had run up to the boy in full speed , “ you okay ?”
@bishopsarrow “yeah! service pup. she’s at the groomer’s right now,” he happily explained, after a moment standing up straight from petting the dog. “what’s his name?”
Kate gathered the leash around her hand, pushing dark locks behind her ear, “Yeah, you got a dog too?” She asked with a small, curious smile. She had to agree though, Pizza dog was a very sweet boy.
