THEATER KIDS I NEED SOME HELP
So I’m trying to make a list of musicals that would be good to take someone to see if they have either never been to see many musicals or if they aren’t too much of a fan of them, so far I have:
- [ ] Aladdin (Disney)
- [ ] Lion King (Disney)
- [ ] Frozen (Disney)
- [ ] Wicked (hard not to love plus how many ppl haven’t seen Wizard of Oz, so they may like it)
- [ ] Six (for the ladies & history lovers)
- [ ] Hamilton (for the rap/hip hop & history lovers)
- [ ] Shrek (the movie is hugely popular)
- [ ] A Chorus Line (a good show, theatery but also minimal craziness)
- [ ] Dear Evan Hansen (modern show and not too flashy - not sure abt it tho)
- [ ] Mamma Mia (it’s abba and who doesn’t love abba)
What do y’all think of this list? What musicals should I add or even remove from the list to make the perfect theater kid starter list??
@lilypotter6457 I'd say something like Mamma Mia or &Juliet because they've got relatively simple plotlines and also songs that everybody knows
