Thank you for reading and voting for my BED STORY, it is much appreciated. I am unable to read much on wattpad anymore as I suffer from fatigue, but I will look at some of your work when I have a moment. Nice to meet you on here.
You may have seen that I have changed the title of my book to "Cracks in the Void (BOOK KEPT ON HOLD)".
What does "book kept on hold" mean? It means that I have TEMPORARILY discontinued the book. Why? Because, I feel like In today's world, with the current socio-economic situation, I should write something a bit more politically impactful. So, I've taken a break from writing this story to start a new one. This does not mean that this book isn't good enough for my attention. It just means that I want to focus more on politics rn. And I DON'T want to bring politics into THIS book.
I believe that as writers, we have a duty. A duty to educate the public on what's going on in the world in a more digestible form. It feels like the world is going to tip over at any point. And that the government(s) are trying to censor everything that shows the "bad side" of them. And I feel like our generation and the generations after that will have to suffer because the adults of today aren't doing anything. But, if the history books have taught us anything, it's that we are not powerless.
So, this is just a disclaimer that I'll be writing more political books for now. And I've given the reason as to why.
@lil_mashed_potato - I will certainly have a look at your work when I have a moment. It is wonderful to see new writers and their different styles of work. Each is unique!
@Polllardii thank you so much for letting me know that. I will definitely keep that in mind! I love to see different people's opinions on different things! I'd greatly appreciate it if I could get your opinion on my new book; as you have fatigue, (I haven't written a lot of chapter) and also because I haven't gotten alot of engagement on it.
