one year clean and what did it get me. nothing. the bpd takes over again eventually. the anger and sadness, the scars on my wrist remind me of who i’ll never be. happiness comes for maybe only a second but it’s a second of freedom. the feeling of emptiness and loneliness take over what would have been happiness. i say things i should never say and hurt people without trying while i hurt myself with all intentions. i don’t want to be like this, depressed and angry all the time, but that’s just my life. it’s so hard to act like im okay when all i feel is numb. though i have great friends, nothing helps. my supportive parents and teachers don’t seem to do any good for me anymore. no matter what i do, it’s as if i have the worst life when in reality its just my disorder. when i try to help people, i only seem to make it worse. i never feel like im enough, i believe people are going to get sick of me and leave me. i try so incredibly hard to be better, but i know it’ll never happen. maybe i will get better eventually but it feels hopeless.
