@xX_Meiflower_Xx atp it’s unknown… but i changed how their mom dies from the show, bc like in the show she is killed after being bit but in the book she dies of natural causes after emmy’s birth. ellie is immune in the book bc their mom consumed cordyceps contaminated food, but not enough to kill her.
