Alright guys, I don’t know if anyone is still out there, but I have to make it official and get it off my chest. I am discontinuing Whirlwind. I have a few reasons for this:
          	1. I believe Lightning ended in a pretty good spot. I left it open for another sequel, but also wrote it with the possibility of it being the final installment as well, so it could go either way.
          	2. I’m in a different stage in life now than I was when I wrote Thunder and Lightning. I wrote Thunder when I was 16, in high school. And Lightning was written during my first year or so of college. I’m 25 now and as much as I love my series, my life has changed, my priorities have changed, and my free time has changed. I simply don’t have the time to write and I don’t have the ability to prioritize it or the motivation to return to that chapter of my life. I love my story with all my heart, but it just doesn’t fit into my life right now.
          	3. The pandemic played a huge part in this. It was the reason I ultimately stepped away from Wattpad and writing the series at first, and I just was never able to get back into it no matter what I tried, and maybe that is also partially due to the fact that I graduated college and stepped into the “real world” during that time as well.

Anyway, long story short, I am discontinuing Whirlwind. Lightning is a good conclusion to the story and while more can be added, it’s not needed. Kyleigh/Thunder’s future is whatever you decide it to be!

I do have several plot points and ideas that I was going to use for Whirlwind and if anyone out there would like to know what would have happened in the book, I am more than willing to share the details with you. Feel free to message me and we can talk :)

Have a nice day, and to anyone reading this, thank you for reading my stories. The Thunder series is a huge part of my life and defines a huge chapter of my life that I love and will always be thankful for.

I read thunder a long time ago and I liked it... It's plot is amazing and quite unique.
Anyway it's quite sad that you discontinued the third sequel. I might not say much sense (Yeah I'm younger than you may think... Young writer here). Your book inspired me to put my superhero brain fantasy out and actually write a sequel about it.

If possible... I repeat if possible cause I understand your busy and all, I could get some tips as I start this sequel.... It's called Star Force about three superheroes who inherited alien powers... It's also has a side story of human indifference and life tradegy.

          Pm if noticed
Ohh btw I'm still studying.. starting next week so might not be able to read a reply in the next three months but it's okay.

          Thanks

kyleemuy

I apologize for the late reply, not sure if you still need to answer, but Thunder’s powers are: controls Lightning/electricity, super speed, flying, and when she is feeling intense anger/emotions she can accidentally cause thunderstorms

*crawls out of the shadows after several years of promising a story update*

Hey guys, Chapter 1 of Whirlwind is out now.

Sorry it took literal years for me to post it, but I finally found the inspiration to write again. Thing's have been a little crazy since 2020 (when I originally intended to write this book) and I'm busier than ever now due to working full time and going to school part time. But I have always wanted to come back and finish this story that I began so long ago. It is a big goal of mine to finish this third and final installment in the Thunder series. I won't be making any sort of promises about timelines for updates, but I do intended to finish this book. I have very little free time these days, but I will do what I can when inspiration strikes. It's weird to write again and I apologize if the quality of my writing needs some work at first, but it takes a lot of effort to start up writing this story again after being absent for so long.

Thanks to anyone who is still sticking around with me. I appreciate all of my old and new readers! We'll talk soon! E(:

I keep going AWOL on projects here that I want to pursue. And I need to stop doing things that I feel like I have to apologize on. I'm sure everyone here is aware of the situation of this world right now, and due to the circumstances I have put a halt on writing Whirlwind. This book is definitely something I do want to write, and I hope to someday be able to do it, but due to mental health after the pandemic hit and many things in my life changing very suddenly and unexpectedly, I haven't been able to even consider working on the story.

Also, due to the storyline that I was originally intending, I feel like now isn't the most appropriate time to be writing the book. (I swear I need to stop predicting the future with my stories..) So, I may be able to do a workaround with the plot, but until I have the mental capability to do so, Whirlwind is again postponed. I apologize to anyone who may be out there looking forward to this story, but I don't want to keep making empty promises that I have to apologize for later.

I’m only a week and a half into the new semester and it has been pretty rough already. It was a chaotic weekend for me and it helped me realize that in order to get through this semester without excessive anxiety, I’m already having to cut time from my job, let alone try to write a book as well.

So for now, Whirlwind is on a small break. I know I just started and already said updates are going to be slow, but for now I don’t have time to think about updates. I dont have time to add the excess stress to my schedule. I’m excited to write the book and I will be posting chapters as soon as physically possible. Just be patient. I want to put my best work into the story and if I try to force it out when I’m stressed with schoolwork, it won’t be as good as it could be.

So bear with me. I refuse to give up on this story, but I just need some time to get everything in order.

kyleemuy

That being said, I am going to be writing it this semester still, it I can’t promise any deadlines. I’ll be uploading as often as I finish a chapter, I just can’t create or promise any sort of schedule while I’m still in school
