Hi I'm Jet and I'm writing an original story based loosely within the Assassin's Creed modern-day universe called "Independence". I personally do not see it as a "fanfiction" due to the fact the cast of characters are original save for one (who makes only a minor appearance). 

The story revolves around multiple characters, each with their own goals and personalities as they either side with or try to fight a new, explosive, and powerful group that seeks to destroy two historical sides: the Assassins, who fight for freedom, and the Templars, who fight for control. But what happens when someone drives a stake through a long-fought war, only to make it their own? Not all is what it may seem, as this new group makes an intriguing claim: Why fight this endless war when peace can be achieved? Of course, peace cannot exist without turmoil... And someone must rule the ashes. Coming in 2016.
