I’M NOT INVITING YOU IN. WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO SAY, YOU CAN SAY OUT THERE.

[she grabbed the throw blanket from behind her and brought it down to her lap, covering herself as though she were cold.] i don’t plan on bringing too many knives, just one that i can conceal but pull out quickly if necessary. [and maybe a stake, but not one that could kill an original.] ah yes, i’m going to be the little loner off to the side. that’s right up my alley. [her fingertips played with the streaks of blonde, recently dyed from the former red.] what am i supposed to do if he comes up to me? not that it’s likely, but i’d rather be prepared.

@bIoodiedhands * he made no attempt to take a seat when she did. No point in overstaying his welcome when he wasn't even that sure if he was welcome to begin with * Said party goer will no doubt be my brother. He has a habit of ensuring people around him do not like him. Though I would advise not to do anything too rush. Your knives will do very little to deter him. Perhaps you could simply avoid him instead for the evening. I know some of my siblings do enjoy taking that approach.

[ she could only frown at his words, knowing that there was nothing but truth to them. she plopped down on her couch with a huff, the silent implication to make himself at home was there. ] you have made valid points. just because i have had an unfortunate encounter with one bad vampire does not necessarily mean that all of them are awful monsters. what better way to find that out than a grand party hosted by the original family? however, i will not hold my tongue if any party-goers are dickheads. that’s simply not my style, as you are well aware. i am not particularly overjoyed about this, but how i’ve treated you thus far is incredibly rude. you’ve made no attempt to bring me harm, the least i could do is be kind in return. or if you wish, i could go back to threatening you— the choice is yours.
