My darlings,
I’ve been writing more lately, and I must say—emotionally, I feel rather wonderful. “Romance Test” has been such a delight to write: fun, kinky, fluffy, and just the right kind of cheeky. I might continue updating it more often than the original Wednesday schedule, so do keep an eye out!
But I’ve also got room in my heart - and my writing brain - for one more story at the same time. While I adore “Dead on Your Arrival,” it needs more care and plotting than my current frolicky mood allows. So… how about something else?
I’d love you to help me choose. What kind of romantic escape shall we go on together next? All of these stories are set in my made-up county of Fleckney - a place of nosy neighbours, green hills, questionable decisions, and more more hunky men than a village fete has scones.
Option 1: Carry on with Dead on Your Arrival anyway—because you simply HAVE to know what happens next to Marcia and her half-Greek doctor.
Option 2: Return to "The Mysteries of Bran House" - a humorous, pseudo-Gothic tale featuring a former nun, a crumbling mansion, and a tall, unreadable stranger.
Option 3: Pick up "Show Me Your Lips"—a tender slow-burn between a spinster accountant and a deaf biker.
Option 4: Head back to "A Woman About Town," the latest in the Fox & Oakby serie - a cosy murder mystery with all my Holyoakes among Fleckney’s villages, tea shops, and tangled emotions.
Option 5: Something completely new. Surprise me!
Let me know in a comment below! Whether you’ve been reading quietly from the sidelines or chatting with me from the start, I’d dearly love to know where your heart lies. I want to write something that thrills, touches, and charms us all.
Ever yours,
K. xx
