Keira D. Skye loves dolphins, and anything else that has to do with marine biology. She is obsessed with Starbucks and flying kites on the beach. In between making photographs pretty and playing with all of her animals, she loves to write YA fiction. She is the author of the DESCEND series - a mermaid trilogy. Skye's stories are raw, yet amazingly heartwarming, and include an edge that makes her excel in her craft.

That's my author bio - but more about ME me. :) Hi there! My name is Keira. I not only write, but I LOVE to read! I have always been a big, huge, gigantic reader and love to read just about anything I can wrap my hands around. However, I do admit, I have this rather large fascination with Enquirer magazines and celebrity gossip! I have two teenagers who rock my world and a zoo full of lovely animals that both drive me crazy, but make me mildly buddha-like as well. I am very well taken by someone who is absolutely amazing! I love to play games online, love Scrabble, Boggle, and Monopoly. My favorite shows include Myrtle Manor and Gypsy Sisters. TLC rocks! It's a lifeline to my sanity.
