Okay, update (not announcing this to prevent being annoying, this is just for if anyone (me included) is looking for my plans)--
I just spent all afternoon/evening yesterday reading my own work with undivided focus for hours, so the interest is back. Some of it makes me cringe/sigh, though, because of course it was just self-indulgent fun, but I keep thinking GODDDD this scene could be so much better if I hadn't just put the first random thing to pop into my head because I thought it would be funny and I was allergic to ever using a second idea. lol.
Anyways I think I'm going to "rewrite" all 4 of my books, starting with Soft Robotics and Little Wars. Soft Robotics is going to become the draft I was working on called "Poetic Justice" because it basically has the same story, except I treated the writing process like it might be a real book I might pitch to an agent with, like, real plot and tension etc.
For Little Wars, I realized I didn't hit my stride until like 70k words and a year into into that book lmfao. I read it all the way through yesterday, hit around chapter 18 (wherever that chapter-long cuddling scene is) and was like "ohhhhh, THIS is the book." That hiking scene? UH, YEAH. I'm gonna cut down a lot of extraneous stuff and work on the pacing. I think that book can really work.
So once I get those drafts done I'll start re-releasing them.
