KAY JAY TAILOR is a 20-something year old university student, with a passion for coding, writing and designing.



To create a world so vivid and complex with the flick of a pen, has allowed her to escape her hectic life and delve deep into the realms of a fictional tale.



Kay grew up in an Asian family in the heart of a small town in England. Without the support of her friends and family, she wouldn't have had the courage to publish her works on Wattpad.



Having battled mental health illnesses, Kay prefers to write novels that deal with the unprecedented stigma that goes alongside being a young adult in the 21st Century. Kay's writing is uplifting, allowing readers to resonate with the words that are carefully crafted by her.



Kay Jay Tailor joined Wattpad in the late months of 2013 as a silent reader. After having been told that her writing was "abysmal" by one of her teachers in 2017, Kay set out to prove them wrong. 'After You,' a short story in 'When The Stars Dance,' was the first piece of writing that she had published on Wattpad. 'After You' gained positive attention, and won a host of prizes in Wattpad-based awards contests. 'After You' was also featured on the Wattpad Short Story profile towards the end of 2018.



One of Kay's most recent projects, 'Finding Jules,' earned her the title "Author of the Month" by  @MajesticIncAwards in October 2018.



As a Wattpad Data Ambassador, Kay plans to expand upon her knowledge in machine learning and deep learning.
