You willingly buried me under tons of dirt with your name calling and negativity. You had me believing that I wasn't worthy and that I should lay down and die like the sick dog you believed me to be. But hold on, do you hear that scratching? It may be faint to you right now but listen for it, it gets louder every day. That's me clawing my way back up to the surface and back to where I belong. From the depths of Hell I am making my way up to the light. Inch by blessed inch I move towards my ultimate goal. You can try and pack that dirt tighter and tighter until it feels like cement slabs pressed against me but when I finally break through and you see me dust the dirt off my bloody and battered body you will see me stand tall and stronger than ever before. For I will have become the man that I have wanted to be and the man that I am meant to be.
