I'm sorry, I swear I'm not a taylor hater, but I will never (ever ever ever!) be okay with how she handled her 'break-up' with harry. imagine being a grown-ass woman and dating someone who's barely not a minor and then publicly dissing, whore shaming, and blaming them for your failed relationship, and continuing to still feed into that narrative decades later, allowing her 'fans' to spread slander and hate about your ex who you're now on good terms with. I love taylor, but none of that is okay.

@lunaticcat009 fr, he was so heartbroken. he's honestly a major reason why I don't think harry and taylor actually ever dated, cause he legit was always saying that they were "just friends" when interviewers would ask, and harry never seemed opposed to him saying that, either. in a way, louis probably did it to protect harry too, cause of the womanizer image that was being forced on him. still tho, as hard as it all was/is for harry, I can't even begin to imagine how horrible it was for louis :(

@lunaticcat009 harry really didn't benefit from it because taylor wrote shit that turned people on him. he was already facing womanizer allegations and a disgusting amount of sexualization. taylor's been a victim of the same thing, which is why I would've thought she'd be more mature about the situation and not egg on the same thing for harry. that stuff's all in the past, though, and she was younger and was hurt, etc., but what's her excuse for releasing is it over now? I can't defend her writing "you search in every maiden's bed for something greater" and "at least I had the decency to keep my nights out of sight." she's basically whore shaming him, is she not? a woman can write shit like that, but if a 23 year old MAN had written "you search in every man's bed for something greater" about an 18 year old GIRL, he'd be cancelled so quick, and as he should be, but the double standards are ridiculous.
