That girl you just called fat? She's overdosing on diet pills. That girl you just called ugly? She spent hours putting on makeup, hoping people would like her. The boy you just tripped? He's abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for his country. The boy you made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. The kid you just called gay? They are and don't need to deal with your homophobia.
I'm tired of putting on this act. Acting happy, acting normal. When I try to fit in I'm trying too hard but when I don't I'm not trying hard enough. I spend hours everyday practicing my smile in the mirror, just so when I fake it it doesn't look that way. The door on my mailbox won't close because I'm too afraid to go outside for the fear of being shot.
This is not a feel good place okay? I'd be better off dead.
