Check out 'Taking a left' on my profile. It actually has a good plot, honest, and I'm really proud of what I've come up with so far. I've got 8-9 chapters up. Maybe the initial dialogue wasn't my best and the words in each chapter in the starting were only about 700-800 but I'm working on that. And the story's really starting to come together. If you do decide to try it out, I really hope you enjoy it!
