hey mom, are you sure about giving me these diamonds?

joyeras

@heartsoirs [ the look anaisa wore was enough to reassure her that the correct decision had been made. perhaps the start of a family heirloom, hoping to once see the precious diamonds radiating from a grandchild and imagining it continuing down their family line. ] whatever you want. in fact, i can call my jeweler and have him come around one of these days. meanwhile, you start thinking of what you’d like to have them made into.

@joyeras ⟡ [anaisa gently embraced the exquisite diamonds, their radiance echoing the fortitude and endurance. each gem, a tribute to her mother's enduring love, carried a multitude of stories within its facets. once belonging to the legendary catwoman, these diamonds murmured tales of daring heists and graceful escapes. anaisa saw beyond their material value; these gems were fragments of her mother's remarkable journey, waiting to be fashioned into a creation uniquely her own. the sparkle in her eyes matched the radiant glow cast by the diamonds, her cheeks aglow with a rosy hue, adorned with a radiant grin.] can I really turn them into whatever jewelry i want?

@heartsoirs [ before becoming a mother, the thief had a fierce protectiveness of her possessions, whether attained legally or not. whatever she claimed was hers and hers alone. but one comment of admiration from her daughter and selina couldn’t stop herself from releasing the hold on it. ] what’s mine is yours, mi vida. why don’t we have them made into a necklace, or perhaps a pair of earrings?

i got caught using some of your gadgets — dad wasn’t too happy about it.

@heartsoirs ah, of course. [ she speaks as though all of the grand mysteries of the world had been solved with those four words uttered by her daughter. a chuckle leaves her lips as she motions for anaisa to come stand by where she stood, carefully taking her smaller hands into her own ] though i appreciate your want to learn how to use such a weapon, you have to be very careful. and / ask / before using it. [ the irony not going unnoticed to the former burglar. though making sure the girl was taught what she wasn’t growing up was important to selina. a mother’s lessons (she learned on her own) passed down. ] if you want, i’ll speak to your dad about letting me teach you a thing or two with it. but you can only use it under my supervision. how does that sound?

@joyeras ⟡ [a mischievous smile played on her lips while she concealed her hands behind her back. the teenager entered the room unabashed, though a hint of nervousness lingered from a recent lecture. she usually excelled at influencing him, except on this particular occasion. anaisa embodied the ideal daughter – charismatic, philanthropic, excelling academically, and engaged in various extracurricular pursuits. similar to her mother, she possessed nimble fingers and enjoyed playing with everything around her, occasionally giving off a child-like demeanor. her impulsive nature was the reason why bruce was especially protective of her.] it was the whip..

@heartsoirs anaisa.. [ the woman says in what i only could be described as a maternal tone, though hints of amusement could be detected if listened to closely. turning in her chair, back now to the vanity she had just been applying her makeup in front of, she now gazed at her daughter ] which one was it? you know how your father gets about these things.

that’s a lovely dress— but your shoes look like they’re killing you.

@sobscore thank you, lucile! your dress is stunning. [she wore a burgundy gown with off the shoulder sleeves and a sweetheart neckline, the skirt flowing down to her feet with a light ruffle at the bottom. gold heels strapped to her feet that matched the jewelers adorning her wrists, neck and ears] is it that obvious? i’m half tempted to just take them off…

right, so—- are those lemon cakes?

kingsarc

@nuncapuros of course i'd like one!— maybe two. or three.. [ it was like an unspoken tradition. where sansa fraser forgot all morals and important tasks in the name of lemon cakes. it was her favorite snack back home—a snack she often argued with her cousin about in favor of it being a full (unhealthy) meal. it was the kind of snack that the dragoneir would save if she was met between saving her friends or saving the plate full of lemon cakes. only with lemon cakes did her morals waver] my cousin would kill me if she saw this— i told her i wouldn’t eat one for a week
