I've been writing in my head since before kindergarten. My parents were extremely religious, and we would spend hours every week in church. I learned to live in my head and create stories to pass time. We didn't have a tv, so I used my imagination all the time. My childhood best friend and I spend hours taking turns telling stories that transported us to another world. 

People say I live in my head too much because they will be talking to me and I'll be thinking of the story that I'm currently living in. I forget they even exist and don't hear a word they are saying. If I'm not living in my head, I'm reading a book.  

I'm my own worst critic and never feel that my writing is good enough. I think all artists feel that way. 

As for knowing me personally...I am a compassionate person that cries when I see someone hurting. I cry when I even think of how not everyone can love who they want or be who they are. It breaks my heart that I can't help every single person who is silently suffering and alone. 

You're My Home was a story I never knew was in my head but was the easiest book that I've ever written. I sobbed through half of it because I live in the story when I write and feel everything deeply. I never planned on sharing this story but then the person I wrote it for read it and begged me to share it with others because the story was everything they needed and that it would help so many others just like them. 

My inbox is always open if you need a friend. Kindness is a beautiful gift to give someone. Love is everything.
