Dear readers - this is @Beatles_Blackbird_98, now @jessielee1998- I have published a new story titled 'Half Past France'.
I have decided to return to Wattpad, as I would like to use it as a form of feedback and reaching new audiences with my stories.
I hope you'll give this story a chance! I know it isn't what I used to write, at all - but I hope some of you will enjoy it :)
          	- Jessie

Dear everyone - I regret to inform you that I will soon be terminating this account and all of its stories. Long story short, I don't want to write fanfictions anymore, and I would like to rid myself of what I have done. I want to write books, but the books I want to write never get read on this website, only fanfiction. It's nothing against any of you because I love you all so much for your support over the years, and I value every vote, comment and share. I love you all very much.
I've already began deleting stories and storing them away, and those I have already deleted are 'Girl', 'The Shy Boy at 2B', 'Lovely Rita' and 'Dear One'. If anyone is in the middle of any remaining stories do let me know and I won't delete them just yet. If I get no replies, I shall be deleting all my stories.
Thank you to everyone who has read my stories, they have meant a great deal to me over the years, as have all of you - but now it's time to move on.

          Lots of love,

          Jessie x

@Beatles_Blackbird_98 this makes me so sad and but I am so glad I saw your post when I did. Your With the Beatles series is one of my 2 favorite pieces on Wattpad. I was about to read it for the 1ooth time, but decided to look at your profile first and I am so pleased that I did. I wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors!

Thanks for the replies and advice everyone. I am in no way saying that fanfiction is 'low art' or 'not worthy' in any way - otherwise I wouldn't have written it in the first place! I actually have another account whereby I began to post a story I'd written and it didn't get any reads really. I don't want to see this as a negative thing at all, I just want to move on and try and be a writer of the kind of fiction I enjoy the most. It just so happens it isn't fanfiction - I haven't decided what I want to do in regards to this, I'm stressing out about it. The stories will remain in tact until I decide what to do.

@Beatles_Blackbird_98 Hello, and apologies for never contacting you before. I've been an admirer of your stories for a long time. I hope you will decide to leave them up so other people can enjoy them too. Like the others suggest, perhaps you could start a different account for original fiction or mothball this one for a while? It makes me sad that you seem down on the stories you've written - you shouldn't be, you should be proud of them. There's a tendency to treat and consider fan fiction as "low art", - that it's not as 'worthy' as other types of writing or art. This is patently untrue. Many "proper" writers started their careers in fan fiction of one type or another. (I put proper in inverted commas because anyone who writes should consider themselves a "proper" writer, whether they are published or not). Also people have got themselves book deals from publishing on Wattpad! (Albeit, not in our little niche!) Anyway, sorry for waffling! Good luck for the future, don't give up writing! - Lindsey x

Dear Jessie,

          It's Diana again.

I just dropped by to let you know that I finished " Dreamers Like Us".

I read it with a fervour that I hadn't felt for any book in a long time.

First of all, Thank You for giving us this story.
I can't find the right words to tell you how much this story made an impact on me.

More than John, I loved Julie.
From a 19-year old tenager, she matured into a strong, determined, wonderful young lady. She's perfect for John.

I'm glad we got to follow her all through all those years of her life.

As for John... For some reason, the John I got to know in your story scored in my heart. I got to see his vulnerable side, the part of him that is craving for love like a little child yearns for affecion.

I'm in love with this John that you gave us to see. His characterization is top-notch, beautiful, sensitive. I feel so sorry for him.
Julie was more than his lover. She was his best friend, she was his mother too, in a sense.

I just wish John would have made it in the end. He deserved to be alive and happy with his Julie.

But the fact that John met with a similar fate in this story than the one he met in his real life adds to the realistic aspect of this story.
It makes me sad but it adds to the beauty of your story too.

What I loved about Julie is that she made John's relatives and friends (Julian, Cyn, Paul, George,Ringo, Aunt Mimi) part of her own world, after John's death.

Julian's relationship with Julie is particularly heart-touching.

See, I can on and on endlessly telling you endless things about the way your story made me feel and touched me deep down.

This is a story I'll remember for a long ime, Jessie.

          Thank you so much.

Hi dear Jessie,

Thank you very much for giving us your beautiful story " Dreamers Like Us".

I've been reading it for the past few days.
I make sure to read a couple of chapters every day.

          This story is special.
It gives me the feeling that I'm getting to know the "real" John.
Which is a strange yet magical feeling.

And I love Julie for being the brave, strong-willed and determined youndg woman that she is. She is a wonderful girl.

I have no words to tell you how much this story is fasinating me.
It's been a long time since I felt so drawn to a story.

          Thank you for your efforts.

          Diana

Everyone - hello. I know I haven't updated in far too long and I'm really sorry. The latest chapter of 'A Day In The Life..' is here, nevertheless, after a long period of hiatus. BUT, I'm in a writing mood and will be writing a couple of chapters tonight, hopefully. I love you all, and I'm so thankful for everyone who's stuck about these past few years, months, weeks. Thank you - hope you enjoy the new chapter - Jessie xx

HEY ALL - I'm very aware that I haven't updated A Day In The Life of The Girl for a few days, and I also haven't written a new chapter yet.
BUT I'm in the process of writing one, despite having severe writers block/general life block right now.
Bare with me, there'll be a new chapter soon! - Jessie
