What I would do is follow people who read the same things you are writing. For example if you're writing a fanfiction about say Dan and Phil I would find a popular fanfiction about Dan and Phil and follow a ton of people who have liked and commented etc. and if you have any other social media say hey go follow me and read my story. It will get you followers and hopefully some reads. Hope this helped. Also if you google it it should come up with some tips. ☺️
