Hey all! 
          
          So if you didn’t notice, I’m baaaack. With a short-story, anyways. 
          
          I hope you all enjoy Grief (sort of, anyways, it’s not necessarily happy, but I hope you enjoy reading it). 
          
          And I’m hoping to be back to updating MC soon. I had a medication increase earlier this week, which I think is helping a lot. Apparently, it’s easier for me to write emotional things when I’m not on my own emotional roller coaster. Who’d’ve guesses?

I know updates on MC have been exceptionally slow. I apologize for that. 
          
          I promise I’m still working on it. I’m not stopping. 
          
          I’ve also been taking care of my dad. He had radiation treatment on one of his eyes a while ago and he’s been having trouble with it ever since. 
          
          The last couple weeks have been particularly bad with because he had an eye infection. He can’t drive, both because his eye is exceptionally sensitive to light at the moment and because he’s on heavy duty pain killers. While he’s been able to make arrangements for himself to get to his eye doctors and whatnot, I’ve taken over a lot of the responsibilities he normally does. 
          
          Wedding (ugh, just ugh), remulching the garden, mowing the lawn (and the tractor is definitely on its last legs), his laundry, and a few other things I think I’ve forgotten. 
          
          This added responsibility and worry, along with the current state of the world, has emotionally drained me. 
          
          And I know there’s more coming my way - he’s getting a corner transplant once the infection clears up. 
          
          So, while updates haven’t stopped, they’re much slower than they were previously. I have no plans to stop working on this, ever. I have the bigger points plotted out, and I’ll figure out the little ones as I go; which is how I’ve written this from the start. 
          
          I love you all, and thank you for supporting me. I hope to have the next bit up within the next week, but I make you no promises.
