I’m so sorry, for letting you all down. Sometimes, I wonder if people try to drown out my mistakes with false reassurances. I’m not supposed to fit into the group, I’ve known it since the sixth grade. I am the puzzle piece that is slightly too big and gets stuck, taking away the piece that was supposed to be there. It’s my fault. For putting someone down in order to think I was being a good friend, and now it’s my fault he’s this way, isn’t it? I try to act happy all day, and smile through the pain. Making shitty jokes and filling the room with laughter, that echoes so shallowly in my chest. I’m sorry you all ever had to meet me. You all accepted me with warm arms, and comforting hugs and smiles. And all I did was ruin it all. I am going through nothing, at all compared to you all, and suddenly, I feel as if all I have ever tried to help, is drowned out in the background, to cringe at later. I know you all don’t want me, and i know you refuse, but I’ve messed up, everything. And im sorry. Deeply and truly sorry for fucking everything up.
