          “I see,” tumango ito. Ibinalik niya ulit ang paningin niya sa hawak niyang magazine at kalauna’y nagsalita. “Are you aware of Harold’s engagement?”
          
          Napadampi ako ng labi. Bawat salita nito’y para akong kinakapos ng hininga. “Y...yes po.”
          
          “Hmm...” Her eyes were still on the magazine, not until she closed it and put it aside. “Then I supposed... you should know your place.”
          
          “Ma!” Harold’s tone slightly rose, while I embarrassingly looked at my feet.

Hi, everyone! It’s been 1 year, 2 months, and 15 days since I last opened this account. 
          
          This is Imee (@imeesyouuu) if you still remember me. 
          
          A lot of things happened in my personal life, especially in my studies. I poured all my efforts and focused on my academics that’s why I had to hold my stories—specifically Flames Series. 
          
          I told myself to finish this series before my internship starts, but that didn’t happen because I was bombarded with lots of paper works and portfolios, let alone our research topic we needed to defend. To make the story short, my academic stuff consumed the whole of me, to the point that I felt exhausted every now and then. I could barely sleep and eat. All I remember was the papers scattered in front of me which had to be done on time. Despite that, fortunately, I won a good fight against that stuff.
          
          Just want to share that I already graduated, guys, and even passed the board examination in my first take. And a few days from now, I will be taking my oath to become a fully-pledge professional in my chosen career.
          
          Kaya ngayon, I guess I had the chance na to use my creative juices sa pending stories ko. Although I can’t do daily updates like usual, this feels better kasi I can now draft for updates. Besides, I feel like I was back to zero kasi medyo limot ko na ’yung flow ng story. Good thing, hindi nawala ang story plot sa’kin.
          
          More than a year of being away on this platform is no joke. I feel grateful still because of the support I’m receiving. Anyway, it feels good to be back. I missed writing so much, and I also missed you, guys! I hope you still know me, hehe. All the love.
