this account has gone through many drastic changes since its birth three and a half years ago. i have a very minuscule following, and the only thing i've ever written that reached one thousand reads was a fanfiction i wasn't all that into.
but i don't really care about numbers anymore. i used to want recognition and for people to praise my writing, but now that it's a new year, i feel i have different motives now.
i'm taking another hiatus from writing, and i won't know how long this one will last. i have a lot of different ideas running around in my head, and i want to be able to cultivate them, and not rush.
i think it's time i start writing for myself.
