" Red Flavor is literally one of the most complicated songs in kpop. A song that at first sounds so bubbly and happy: the first choruses and the rap verses being a good example of its extremely fun and happy vibes. All done just for it to change its perception in the snap of two fingers: the bridge arrives, Seulgi's voice is calming, it soothes me, but at the same time it symbolizes something is evolving in the feeling of the song. Then, Joy's line in the bridge starts the part of the song that changes my view of it. It all becomes extremely emotional and i feel something in my stomach telling me to both tear up and scream. Wendy's highnote brings me high, only for the last chorus to take me down to my emotions: this last chorus sounds exactly like the previous ones, and at the same time it doesnt. It feels less happy, as if it was almost a goodbye to what of a roller coaster the song felt in such a short period of time. Wendy's voice, eventually, recomposes all the messed up emotions closing it forever. And then i think again of the start, the first verse, the first chorus, ecc. of the song, and it doesnt sound the same. It sounds nostalgic.
