          I will be posting my writing onto other sites. I just wanted to post about this to dispel any possible 'copying' issues. At the moment, I only have my Quotev account under the name Erin Kaye, and an Inkitt account under the name ErinKaye.
          
          Yes, very creative usernames, I know, lol.
          
          Anyways, if y'all see any of my works on those sites, this is the reason why, haha. I know that not many people read them, but if there is a chance where someone is browsing and has a, "hey, wait a second..." moment upon seeing the exact same title and book cover, I just wanted to write and pin this post.

Hey, y'all! 
          
          For anyone who read Gaea before November 25, 2023 (yesterday), I wanted to let y'all know that there has been some editing and rewriting to the novel! 
          
          One, it is a bit longer than it already was (a feat I thought to be impossible, but the muse struck while going through each chapter, lol). 
          
          Two, a certain character has been changed. Her background and current characterization has been rewritten and the chapters have been adjusted accordingly.
          
          And three, there will be no more changes to Gaea following this. I understand that Gaea might be too long and that certain information may be considered unimportant to the plot, but I believe it builds my characters, so I plan to keep it all in.

          I wanted to hop on and quickly apologize to anyone following along with Fang Bang. There’s been a serious delay in writing and posting, though I’m hoping I can get back to it sometime this week. Possibly next week, if the former doesn’t work out. 
          
          At first I was having some personal issues with anxiety, which made it difficult to write. But now I’m sick, lol. I’m not feeling too great at the moment, and the headaches have made gazing at my computer screen very, very hard. Plus, the fatigue… ugh. I swear, it feels like all my energy is constantly being sapped away. 
          
          Anyways, I just wanted to post a little update about what’s happening over here, haha.

          Quick update: I won’t be writing for the next… I’m not sure. Long story short, I was writing for Fang Bang, my computer crashed from overheating, and now I just have a completely blank document. It shows that the words are still there, but it’s just… blank. I’m not certain what happened.
          
          Thankfully, I have chapters posted onto here as well as written notes, so I’ll just restart chapter five when I begin again. But I don’t want to write whatsoever until I know this won’t happen again. And considering our A/C has died and it’s been hot as hell here (I’m thinking that’s why it overheated), who knows when that’ll next be. 
          
          Anyway, I just wanted to post something real quick. Please bear with me. Thank you! x

          No updates from me today, unfortunately. I haven’t been writing because I’ve been feeling sick, so Fang Bang will have to wait for it’s next chapter, lol. I think it’s just one of those summer bugs I caught, so hopefully it’ll pass quick. 
          
          But, because I haven’t been feeling up to writing, it’s given me the chance to read through Fang Bang and figure some things out. I’ve got a lot of notes written down for it, as well as plans of going through the currently posted chapters to do some more editing and possible rewrites. I’ll probably get to that tomorrow if my head doesn’t hurt as bad.

          I just submitted Gaea into the Wattys under the Fantasy category. I was going to put it into the Young Adult category, but I realize that the superhero genre dips into the Fantasy genre, and figured that probably fit best.
          
          Um, I guess I just wanted to gush about it, lol. I'm really hoping that Gaea is Wattys ready and actually stands a chance against the well-written books that I know are on this site. Honestly, I wasn't planning on submitting it, but then I told myself to just push past the insecurities I have and to go for it. So, I did.
          
          Now that it's done... well, it's done. That's that, I suppose.
          
          Anyways, sorry for the rambling, lol. Have a wonderful day/night! x

Power outages suck.
          
          Saying that, this is my very rare reminder to form the habit of constantly saving what you write! I lost three chapters of 'Bully Me Down', a story I was writing for the Wattys, because I wasn't paying attention and forgot to save. The power was out for around two hours by then, and my computer lost its charge and shut itself down.
          
          Wonderful, huh?
          
          Seriously, y'all, the outages that we're experiencing where I live are horrible. The storms are more than welcome, though! But if I go through another day where the power is out for 21 hours again, I'm gonna lose it, lol. At least the two after that were only 6 hours and then 8 hours, so I was able to sleep through most of them.
          
          Save your work, y'all. Ctrl-S is the fast way to do so, if you don't feel like having to move your mouse and click the Save button.

          I've never actually shouted out a book before, but there's always a first time for everything, right? I'm not certain who all will see this, though. Is this me blatantly promoting the book so it gets more views? ... Yes, yes, it is. I'm not ashamed.

          I've been looking for a review book to sign up in (?) ever since completing Gaea, so that I can get some more feedback for when I plan on editing it. Out of all that I've seen and read through, this one seemed to have what I was looking for! 
          More importantly, reviewers who don't mind mature/LGBT+ content. Not that I find anything wrong with that! There are certain topics that I can't read myself, so it'd be hypocritical of me to place judgement there, lol. But, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised to see that a review book did accept those two aspects of writing! And I got excited, lol.
          
          Anyways, check it out if you're interested! If not, then that's okay. Whatever you are comfortable with. (:

Hey, y'all!
          
          So, I wanted to drop in and say that within a day, I completed the final chapters of Gaea. Motivation was slow to start, but when it picked up, it hit me with the force of a train, haha. 
          
          Saying that... Gaea is complete. 
          
          Ack, I never thought I'd get here, lol. I honestly don't know what to feel. Should I cry? Should I laugh? Jump for joy or drown in sorrow? I really don't know.
          
          But I am happy and proud and... a bit sad. 
          
          Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. All the chapters are posted.
          
          As always, y'alls enjoyment is the most important part! I hope you all enjoy(ed) reading! Thank you all for bothering to read this message, as well as giving Gaea a chance if you choose to do so. x

Hey, y’all!
          
          So, I haven’t been able to write more than a few hundred words for Gaea, but I thought it was time to update the next chapter anyway. There’s been so much going on.
          
          Some of it I mentioned in my last authors note, but not long after that, even more happened. Our dog got out of the yard and has been missing since, so we’ve been searching for her. No success in finding her so far, but we’re still holding onto hope. It’s been stressful and… I don’t even know. Imagining her out in the desert, lost, has been horrible. 
          
          Um, I guess that’s all. Gaea is coming to its last few chapters now, and I’m beyond excited to finish writing the last two. A bit sad, as well, but mostly excited to see its completion, haha.
