@hollylops
There are moments that words just won’t reach.
There is suffering too terrible to name.
You hold on to faith as tight as you can,
And push away the unimaginable pain.
The moments when you’ve sunk so deep,
It seems easier to just drown.
          	  But I’ve learned to adapt,
I’ve learned to live with the unimaginable.
I spend hours in the forest.
I walk alone to the border.
And it’s quiet out of camp,
I used to like that before.
I still look to the stars at nighttime,
I’m glad that they’re still in the sky.
          	  But I can’t pray.
That’s not what used to happen before.
(If you see her in the woods,
          	  Walking by herself,
          	  Talking to herself,
          	  Have pity)
Dovewing, do you still see the views?
          	  It’s pretty out here.
(She is facing down the unimaginable.
          	  Her whiskers went grey,
          	  She’s lonely every day,
They say she walks the length of the forest)
You knock me out, I fall apart.
          	  (Do you remember?)
          	  Look at where we are,
          	  Look at where we started.
I know haven’t lost you, dear sister.
          	  Please hear me out,
          	  That would be enough.
If I could spare their lives,
If I could somehow alter fate,
The Clans would have won that day,
And you’d be safe, and that would be enough.
          	  I don't pretend to know,
          	  The challenges you’re facing.
I know there's no replacing what we've lost,
          	  But we have time.
          	  And I'm not afraid,
I know what I fight for.
Just let me stay here by your side,
          	  Would that be enough?
(If you see her in the woods, walking by her side
Talking by her side, have pity)
Dovewing, do you like it out here? It's pretty out here.
(She is trying to do the unimaginable.
See them walking by the lake,
          	  Long after dark.
Taking in the changes around them.)
Look around, look around, dear sister.
(She is trying to do the unimaginable)
There are moments that the words don't reach,
There’s a spirit too powerful to name.
We push away what we can never understand,
But we forget the unimaginable pain.
They are standing on the lakeshore,
          	  Dovewing by her sister’s side.
          	  She takes her hand.
          	  The stars are still up.

@hollylops I really liked your story, and it gave me inspiration to remix “It’s Quiet Uptown” (from “Hamilton”). I wrote the new version to fit Ivypool’s perspective on her relationship with her sister after Dovewing was brainwashed. I hope I don’t sound like a creepy stalker, but I really enjoyed the story, and thus made the remix.
Ivypool sings everything except the parts in brackets, and the final line, which is sung by Dovewing
