@dons_daughter I'm not really an author but I've read a lot of books on here for me if your book is able to have a unique element like character names (even if it's one name) or something abt the story line it's easier and quicker to gain an audience because majority of authors tend to use causal same copy paste prompts so if you can master what ever it is that makes your story stand out you can identify a niche reading market to help you grow your own fans For me your idol unique aspect I've picked up on is individuality and character name change still with the other characters names that tend to hook audiences "I'm basing this on her book sweet lies that I'm currently reading" Example she has Nikolai and Alexander Petrov which is the audience familiarailty Then unique name if Anastasia= equals unique edge I really hope I've helped you
