Even as a young child, Harley Turner often disappeared into the world of literature and was never found without a notebook handy, but it wasn't until her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 that she decided she was ready to share her writing with the world. Unable to cope with reality, she disappeared into the worlds she created.
Harley spent the early part of her career writing about social issues that teenagers could possibly face in their day to day lives. From drug use and suicide in the First Love Series (Summer Love and Autumn Goodbye) to cutting and abusive relationships in the Self Inflicted Saga (Self Inflicted, Scars Fade, and Reopening Old Wounds), there is not an issue that she won't write about. Although at the suggestion of a friend, she is currently living in the fantasy world filled with faeries, dragons, and demons in Saving Avalon, Harley has every intention of returning to her social issue novels.

When she isn't writing, Harley enjoys crocheting and photography as well as spending time with her husband and five children. Whether it be at a swim meet, theater event, hockey game, or other various activity, you can bet she has a notebook easily accessible!
Harley loves hearing from her fans, whether it be on her Facebook page, her website, or her email.
