Hey guys! The first 9 episodes of Soldier’s Secret are now LIVE on Vella!

Hey guys.
          Just wanted to let you know I've started the process of moving Soldier's Secret over to Vella. While it would bring me absolute joy if people would support my story, I understand if people aren't able to spend the money for it. 
          The Soldier's Secret will be available for free on Wattpad until November 30th when it will be taken down and published on Vella.

Well guys, I finally finished The Soldier’s Secret.  I’ve been through a lot since I started this book and I’m thankful for all the people who have stuck with it since the beginning. I’m sorry again for not posting as regularly towards the end. 
          
          My next story that I’ll be working on is The Dish Cut Down at Midnight, but I’ll be working on it offline for a while until I get to a point I feel comfortable posting chapters. I don’t want to risk there being long gaps between chapters again.

18 Wishes hit 20k.
          I hit 300 followers.
          My husband’s immigration interview went well and they recommended him for approval.
          
          In celebration of all of these events, I posted a bonus chapter to 18 Wishes!!

MY DAD IS FINALLY HOME!!!
          
          It has been a long and hard month but he is finally home. After having a cardiac episode on January 11, getting a pacemaker, and having a cardioversion to shock the heart out of atrial fibrillation, the rehab center they sent him to gave him Covid.
          
          He tested positive on January 19 and with mild symptoms it gave us hope.
          
          On January 29, his oxygenation dropped and he was put on oxygen. They took a chest x-ray and found congestive heart failure. With the new information and his poor oxygenation, the rehab center sent him back to the hospital.
          
          The pulmonologist saw him the next day and informed us that it wasn’t congestive heart failure, but pneumonia. It was too late to give him the cocktail that could nip it in the bud as it was already moderate. The next 72 hours were beyond stressful as all we could do was watch and wait, praying that his pneumonia wouldn’t get worse and they wouldn’t have to intubate him.
          
          With the help of steroids and an amazing hospital staff, his oxygenation slowly came back up and they were able to turn the pressure down.
          
          We were informed on Monday that his scans looked good enough that they were thinking of discharging him tomorrow. When I woke up yesterday, that timeline was sped up and at 11 pm last night my dad was home safe and sound.
          
          Just being able to see him again after almost a month is a huge relief. He will likely be on oxygen for the rest of his life but that doesn’t matter as long as he lives.
          
          I appreciate and thank you for your patience and support and now that he’s home I’m hoping to have a clear enough head to write more than I have been.
