Recently I unpublished my story Affinity. I unpublished it because I've recently been making changes to the characters and the story overall, most of the chapters have been rushed and I feel they don't reflect the possible potential the book could have later down the line. Most of the chapters I didn't know what I was writing, I went in blind and made it up as I went. I was struggling because throughout my time of writing stories I have never finished a single piece of my works, they would always be discontinued or would never even make it to the first chapter, or I would just scrap the whole idea. Its hard for me to set aside time for me to write and focus because I have problems focusing on things. Of course, this is not an excuse but an explanation. I've had time to think about the characters and the plot to make changes for overall improvement. And while I still don't entirely know every single thing that will happen in Affinity, or every single thing about the characters and the main protagonist, I can say I won't be going in completely blind and repeating the same mistakes that I did before. At the end of the day Affinity is not really meant to be a serious story, and the reason behind why I thought of Affinity is because of my hyperfixation with Pokemon, more specifically Sword and Shield. Because I've always wanted to live in a universe where Pokemon were real, its been something I thought of ever since I was a little kid and I still think of now that I'm 15 turning 16 in October of this year. And also because of a hyperfixation on a certain dark type gym leader from the game.. I'm sorry for not being active on this account as I lost the password and it was hard to get back into the account, but I'm back in now! And although I've had troubles with the story, I still want to continue writing it and hopefully complete it! So stay tuned~
