meet   AMAYA    KUROSHI    ,    who     has    adopted     the     alias     APOLLO    !     he’s    a    student    in     UA’s    hero    course    ,    currently     in     class    1 - B    despite     recently     turning     eighteen    !    he     was     held     back     due     to     his      families     requests     ,     but     now     he’s     here     due      to      recommendations     and     he     has     one     HELL    OF     A     QUIRK   .     much     like     a     student     in     1 - A    ,     this    student     was    purposely     made     by     his     parents     who     were     forced     into     an     arranged    marriage    ( luckily    falling     in     love     over     the     years )    .     he’s    a    SPLIT    of     his    parents     ,     one     half     of      his     body       dedicated     to      each     of     their     abilities    .

QUIRK   :    YIN   N    YANG    ⋮    in    darkness    there    is     light    .
          	  due     to      selective      breeding      between      two     individuals      with      powerful      but      contrasting      quirks     ,      the      quirk     given      to      this     individual      has      caused       them      to     be     split     in     two     ,     with     each     side     of      their     body      only      able      to      harness     one     part      of      their     quirk    .
          	  
          	  on     their     left     side     ,     they     control     and     manipulate     shadows     .     they     are     able     to     materialise      these     shadows     into     weapons     or     even     allies     —     although     the     latter     requires      energy     and     focus     .     if     in     an      indoor     area     or     a      dark     area     outside     ,      they     are     able     to     expand     shadows     and     use     them     to     make     an     entire     area     pitch     black    for     a      certain      amount     of     time    .     other      uses     of     this     ability     have     yet     to    be     fully     explored    .
          	  
          	  on     their     right     side     ,      the     user     can     manipulate     light    ,     as     well     as     create     their     own     bright      light     that     can     burn      things    —    much     like     a      laser    ,     of     sorts    .     this     light     is     often     used    to     blind     enemies     in     quick     flashes     ,     or      used     to     burn      certain      enemies     when     necessary    .     this     power      has     not     been     explored     in     depth     due     to     how     much     energy     is     required     to     harness     it     .
