@amendsmade ༯ ⠀⠀a part of her knew that she should have used another word over ‘asset,’ but it was the only word she could possibly think of. it was what coulson had used to describe her when she first started a little over a year ago, and now she just doesn’t know what other word to use for herself. “to no longer being an asset.” she repeated, clinking her glass against his and bringing it to her lips to down the rest of it. she didn’t drink often and was a bit of a lightweight, but she cane fully prepared for that. she’d bought a hotel room for the night, thankfully just down the street from the bar. she set her glass down with a face of slight discomfort, both welcoming and regretting the burn down her throat. “congratulations to you too, james.” she nodded her head and waved to the bartender with a smile on her features once again, silently asking for a refill. “what’re you gonna do now? any fun plans?”
