After the news of Dhoni handing over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad came up, I once again went through Ruturaj's Instagram profile (I already have many times) and I noticed how whipped he is for his wife Utkarsha!

It is so adorable the way he keeps posting pictures with her everytime he gets the chance and they're so wholesome!
(Probably पुणेरी मुलं are superior that way <3)

It's true when they say, some people are truly meant to be. I have seen many couples on the net who post photos together but they don't have the thing that catches my eyes, many relationships seem staged.
Some couples are couples for namesake only but some look so much in love, like Sid - Kiara, they're so adorbs.

So remember people, don't settle for someone who's hesitant when it comes to acknowledging you as their partner infront of others.

@gulabjamun37 they are the bestest couples out there...
And yes maybe Puneri boys are actually superior that way...

We've always read about people being devastatingly gorgeous, but have you heard of someone being devastatingly talented? That's Dev! Infact the adjective I used for him legit has the first three letters of his name!

Keeping up the tradition, this boy scored an amazing 65 runs on his debut and now that I think of it, I feel his t20 debut wasn't as glorious because his Test debut was gonna be insanely (fucking insane) good!!

Probably back in Bangalore, his parents and sister sitting infront of the TV, watching their Dev play would've shed tears of contentment and immeasurable joy because their kid is now a national sensation. They probably talked over dinner about how absolutely right the decision to move to Bangalore was.
When Arjun from ZNMD said 'sab kuch likha hua hai' he was accurate af.

And despite of all of this, he's more than a cricketer who plays for the national team. His existence will never be reduced to 'only a cricketer' as long as he lives his life 'enjoying the little things'. One day he'll be a husband, a father and those things will bring him more joy than a Test debut ever will.

Dev, if you're reading this under some weirdass name like BiryaniMonster (which is highly unlikely ), I want to tell you - live for yourself and for the hope of it all.
And maybe, maybe one day I'll get to have a Chai date with you?

          अभी तो मुठ्ठीभर ज़मीन नापी है तुमने, अभी तो पुरा आस्मान बाकी है

@gulabjamun37 Had always believed in him since day 1.. not even for a second even though there was so much hate, had I had a doubt on him.. His success made me so happy as if I was winning in my life.. how our starboii worked so hard and made his mark despite everything...

And I am glad I found a person like u who admires him with as much honesty as I do...

Dev has always said that playing test cricket is his ultimate dream and to see him finally live that dream is such an overwhelming moment!
The moment he was handed the test cap, he probably saw his journey from KIOC to this day pass rapidly infront of his eyes!
And fighting back against a medical condition where probability of whether he'd be able to play again loomed for over two years, this is certainly a groundbreaking comeback!
It brought tears to my eyes and makes me ponder upon the fact that this is the beauty of 'being human'. Being overjoyed and sentimental over a certain person's achievement who doesn't know you exist and yet you're with him on every step, backing and supporting unwaveringly is truly something that only humans can experience.

I was fifteen at the time of Dev's IPL debut and now I'm 18 when he made his Test debut! Time flies, but the only thing that you have in control is believing in yourself.

I wish him all the happiness this world has to offer and also all the runs a batsman can possibly score over his career span

          कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती
