i'm gonna be real with you all for a sec. you probably noticed that over the past couple years my writing/updating frequency has sharply declined, to the point where it's almost nonexistent. i'd say it's because my job has taken some of my time, but i have really good hours and i do have the time to write when i get home. so in all honesty, i've stopped updating as much because i fell down the rabbit hole that is twitch and video games in general. it originally started out as me modding for a friend but it quickly spiraled out of control, to the point where twitch and gaming were my primary focus and my writing was put on the backburner. but i've come to the realization now that those two things were causing me to not want to write, which is horrible because its what i love to do. so i have decided to step away from twitch and gaming for a while and focus on getting my life back, which includes dedicating more time to write. i'm sorry for not being honest with you all sooner, but i realized last night that enough is enough. so going forward i will make a genuine, solid effort to update my books and write more frequently. i love you guys. <3

so, the real story about what happened is tldr but basically someone tried to break into my house last night. it was actually also the night i was originally planning to work on that long awaited Flicker chapter I promised y'all, but tbfh I'm still pretty shaken up by everything that went down. so all my writing is on hold for a little while. I promise I'll be back soon though. ❤️

you know that fic i promised you all about a month ago, "How the Mighty Have Fallen"? well i haven't given up on it, i swear. it's just that casting for the book has been a pain in the ASS because i had so many roles to fill, and i had to research most of the roles AND find the right gifs for each character, so it just took forever. plus i made some last minute casting changes for the main character so i had to fix the cover to attone for that. you'll see what i mean once i publish the book, though, which will be very very soon ;) 

this is just ridiculous. i hate that wattpad is becoming more and more convoluted with its purpose. i remember back in 2014 when there was no wattpad premium, no ads, you could write books without fear of them being taken down, and there were no hoops to jump through. now this site has become nothing short of one big money grab with sanctions and rules holding everyone in a chokehold. it's only my love of writing that's kept me on this site for this long. and now we have even MORE rules and hoops to jump through? clownery. complete and utter clownery.

I know I've been slacking with updating Flicker but I promise an update will come soon! I have a crazy emotional ending planned for act 4 as well as some future relationship milestones with kato and Steve once I start the infinity war act, and let me just say, things get *spicy* ;)
