Those sorts of questions draw all sorts of attention. I'm sure you don't want that.

etheralheart

* an amused laugh escaped her lips, the attitude of the other woman highly entertaining for Cerise * Don't let Niklaus Mikaelson hear that. Around here, he thinks he's the King. And those that challenge that little fantasy tend to disappear. * a hint of a scowl appeared at those final words, not overly impressed by the hybrid *

@etheralheart ⠀⠀⠀ [her claws adjust the mask against her cheekbones, indifferent to the girl’s words.] oh, you don’t have to tell me that. i’m well aware of how nice attention can get awful real fast, i just don’t care.

I'm sorry... I'm afraid I don't know this witch you're talking about.

“Most wolves trigger that first. They snap, lose any self control they may have had and the wolf emerges. I didn’t, not until after I became a vampire. My wolf laid dormant for years. But that changed when I killed my first person after my transition. iIt triggered the wolf, something I had hoped would never happen, and a hybrid I became,” she replied. She wasn’t afraid of the claws. She’d heal, one of the factors of what she was. Nothing was permanent anymore. “Perhaps you’ve heard of Hayley Marshall, the werewolf Klaus knocked up. She is my sister.” Though that alone may have been enough, Leah was pretty damn certain even if she had gone through this transformation elsewhere, Kraus would have been blissfully unaware of her existence. She was very good at flying under the radar when she needed.

She didn't flinch, didn't move a single muscle when the other woman grabbed her face. She didn't have to ask who the 'him' was in regards to the woman's questions. Everyone knew Niklaus Mikaelson, in same way or form. "Very few are like him," she pointed out calmly. "Most of the hybrids he had already slaughtered, not that they were the same as him anyway. And no, he didn't do this to me. Not really. I suppose you could say he and I are more alike than the rest ever were...." She trailed off, pursing her lips momentarily, mind flickering back to that. She had no issues telling the woman what she was. It wasn't a secret Leah intended on keeping. "I was born a wolf, but I never triggered my curse. I had control, something most wolves lacked. My sister certainly did. But control is easy to lose when you become a vampire first."

@fadedfragility ⠀⠀⠀ the witch watched the way her face changed, the smallest of changes but yet somehow still a big one. her own golden hues study the woman and before she can help it, she’s stepping forward and carefully grabbing her face. she made sure her claws didn’t make contact with the woman’s skin, for she didn’t want to cut her. the mask moved as adira spoke her next words. “you are like /him/, aren’t you?” the man he spoke of was the woman that she had spoken of—- klaus mikaelson. “..did he do this to you?” she did not view the girl a monster or a weapon like herself, but instead a woman who could fend for herself. it was.. extraordinary.

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ docile creature-—i thought to myself. and yet; you’ve outsmarted all the highlanders, including myself, in these mountains. tell me, was it worth it?

goIdengIow

@kazits ⠀⠀ the words spoken from the foreign being didn’t faze her, for she knew that she did not belong anywhere. she was a hybrid of sorts, half woman and half monster—- something that belonged nowhere and to no one. to be told she did not belong here and now was nothing to her. it was just another statement, just another truth that she had already dealt with but people loved to tell her it anyway. her tongue swiped across her teeth beneath the mask, the action hidden behind the dark material of her mask.

⠀⠀ “i know exactly where i am. do you think i am stupid?” the words don’t carry the way that adira is used to, but she does not let it dissuade her from the point. “ah. well.. that does not bother me, i won’t be here long enough for it to truly matter.”

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ * ⠀ kazik’s hard gaze remained on the strange woman for several more beats. the scottish highlands were known for their jagged mountain peaks, heather-streaked moors, and endless mist that veiled the ridgelines like ghostly drapery. isolation here wasn’t chosen—-it was inherited. the winds cut sharp, and the air always tasted faintly of stone and peat. whilst the lowlanders occupied the northern coastlines, grounded and nearer to towns, this side of scotland was both a blessing and a curse. winter was hell, snow fell heavy and wet, freezing over the rocky paths and swallowing whole trails. survival wasn’t just a challenge; it was a question that had to be answered daily. and then there were the travelers. from across the world, both man and creature, drawn to this land that whispered of old blood and buried gods. hunting had become the only true means of sustenance. kazik wondered if she knew exactly where she stood. there was a stifling tension. his icy grey hues finally shifted away from her, sweeping toward the distant mountain range—green and dark beneath a curtain of fog, the coastline below crawling out toward the north sea. the first signs of snowfall had begun, leaving behind wet flakes that clung to the earth like white ash.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ “quite impressive, yeah. but do you realize where you are?” he muttered, voice low, nearly lost to the howl of the wind. the question carried a quiet curiosity. his gaze flicked back to her once, this time lingering. “you don’t belong in this time or place.”

@kazits ⠀⠀ she wore fitting attire for her travels, ditching her most beloved pair of heels for a pair of boots with fuzz on the inside, a casual cream-colored sweater meant for winter, black thick pants, and a white jacket with a lining of fur. golden irises take one look at the being beside her, flickering down the figure before turning her head toward the sky. “if it were not truly worth it, i would not be here.”

@kazits ⠀⠀ the woman did not move an inch for a few short moments, hoping to stay hidden in the comfort of the shadows that clung to her body like a warm blanket. unfortunately she knew that wasn’t going to happen, so she took a few steps forward, the heel caps of her stilettos making a satisfying sound with every step she took. “it would seem you’re unlike the others.” the dark mask covering the bottom half of her features made her voice slightly muffled, but she spoke loud enough for her voice to cut through the still air like a knife. “you noticed me far quicker than any of them. why is that?”
