          rcb. the team i chose in 2016. i was just five and didn't have much knowledge , i just loved KOHLI. as that season passed i grew to love the team.
          
          
            29.05.2016. the day that broke my heart. the first heartbreak of many for me in cricket. the first by this team, who would later go on to face many more but not in the finals till ten years later. but this time it wasn't a heartbreak.
          
          heartbreak after heartbreak. loss after loss. no trophy - year after year. and no matter what my favourites remained constant - my no 1s mi and rcb.
          
          
          
          
          
          17.03.2024 .
           the day we won our first wpl title. i remember the memes before the finals- rcb vs dc . trophyless team vs trophyless team. one will lift the trophy. 
          it was like a dream come true. i sat with my fingers crossed and cried after the final. the moment we lifted that trophy. i was so proud of the girls.  they deserved it.
          
          
          
          i wanted the men's team to do it too.
          
          
          
          
          
          2025
          
          i wanted rcb to win — for virat. our king kohli.
          rcb dominated the league stage , breaking records we had shamefully created. ipl was delayed. 
          
          
          the stars aligned .
          the 18th season.
          18 years for one team.
          18 on his back.
          we won our first ipl trophy . 
          it was fated — written in the stars .
          
          seeing ab and gayle there and the hug and interactions between them made me nostalgic.
          kl was there too and so was yuzi but now as our opposition .
          virats tears made me sob too. 
          
          
          they won it for HIM.
          WE WON ! 
          
          2016 - 2025
          ten years of me being an rcb fan.
          ive grown up but the love for rcb stayed
          i cried tears of sorrow in 2016
