Waiting for 'bodyguard' new chapter

Hi there,
          
          It's been so long since we had any real contact that you may not remember me.  I'm the retired therapist from California who communicated with you RE: professional ethics.  
          
          Anyway, whether you remember or not, I would like to make a few comments about Rebirth of a Loser.  I made a fairy long comment at the bottom of the last  page, as long as the program would let me.  You picked the perfect place to end the story, BTW.
          
          Mainly what was outstanding about this story was your description of the characters.  I felt like I had a very clear sense of who these people were.  And their development over the course of the story was insightful, gradual, and reasonable.  Wei Zhan in particular went from an ice man to a loving husband and father in small increments that were entirely believable and made perfect sense.  If I had one complaint, it would only be that the Zhangs disappeared for such a long time, though you did bring them back.
          
          There was also a vivid sense of place.  I have an extremely detailed picture of the executive offices in the Wei building in my head.  Also the condo where Zhan and Boyi first lived.  You're awfully good at description.
          
          (Want a laugh?  It took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out that Boyi was Yibo with the syllables reversed.)
          
          As usual your story was a joy to read. Can't wait for the next one.
