QUESTION TO CHARACTER X OC WRITERS !! do you write all canon episodes / plot into chapters but just add your oc in , or do you write some but also add your own original chapters into the mix as well and cut some of the not absolute necessary stuff out ?

@bearbiites I mix it up <3. I always forget some chapters so it's easier to make some the canon chapters and then some not.

            I have little moments in which the cannon is followed { and I keep true to cannon with how a character acts, while leaving some room for change in their opinion towards the OC} but I also have my own story in which my oc is apart of. So both, with anything not really necessary cut out, if i do believe that I'll need to discuss it though I'll leave a note for myself and try to find a place to put it in.

@bearbiites ,, normally, i incorporate both things. diverging from canon isn’t always great, but when done with balance with the actual plot, it can work !! besides, the oc is their own person with their own goals and journeys. it’s good to give them something to do as well rather than making them integral to the canon character’s story, you know ?
