QUESTION TO CHARACTER X OC WRITERS !! do you write all canon episodes / plot into chapters but just add your oc in , or do you write some but also add your own original chapters into the mix as well and cut some of the not absolute necessary stuff out ?

@bearbiites I mix it up <3. I always forget some chapters so it's easier to make some the canon chapters and then some not.

@bearbiites ,, normally, i incorporate both things. diverging from canon isn’t always great, but when done with balance with the actual plot, it can work !! besides, the oc is their own person with their own goals and journeys. it’s good to give them something to do as well rather than making them integral to the canon character’s story, you know ?

i follow the canon plot and input my oc(s) into the episodes/chapters necessary whilst putting in moments where it doesn't follow the plot (mainly moments where my oc(s) interact with different scenarios outside the canon plot)
