I was just doing some research on possible story lines and found out that the American Civil war was in the late 18th Century. I admit, my history knowledge fizzles out after the English Civil war and kicks back in with the Regency (so almost two hundred years). I honestly thought the only thing that happened to us in this period was the discovery of Gin.

Now I'm tempted to write about a gin sodden Brit meeting an American soldier.

The more you research, the more you know.

Stumbled upon your book, read several lines and fell deeply in love with the way you write and especially with Gwen and Edward as well with his siblings. Can't wait to read all of your other works and your future projects as well if you have. You're a very talented writer with a lighter Jane Austen feel, hope you dont stop writing.

          Love, Grace

Most of you may have heard about the 3 terror attacks in london last night, coming so soon after the manchester bomibing. I am devastated that people think such a thing can be done, let alone in the name of religion! Religion should be a thing of peace and is to those who are true beleivers and have pure hearts.
But to anyone who thinks they can beat the U.K. just remember- we've been invaded since before the romans, we are a country that adapts and goes with it. You cannot break our spirit, you'll just get a stubborn snarky set down while we sing at you.

          Don't look back in anger.

Have you ever looked at yourself and considered basing your opinion of your beauty on different standards? Today everyone wants to look like Gigi Hadid or Zendaya, when I was younger everyone wanted to look like Kate Moss or Naomi Campbell. If i'd have been born in Tudor England, I might have been called a beauty instead of being bullied for being pale and ginger.
If anyone has felt unsure about themselves today, felt dissatisfied with the way they looked or how society wants them to look - just remember beauty standards change constantly and you are beautiful to many.
Even if it's just your parents today, it won't stay that way.
You'll grow into someone beautiful because you will grow into yourself and know what suits you - just because chokers and mini skirts are in, doesn't mean you have to wear them. Just because beauty standards want a certain look, doesn't mean that's the only beauty in this world.
If you felt amazing today, then keep it up! It only makes you more beautiful!
In the words of Regina Spektor "You peer inside yourself, You take the things you like, And try to love the things you took"
Love yourself, because you are beautiful... even if you were born in the wrong era for the media to recognise it.

Calling all Romance Lovers - If anyone is a Pride and Prejudice fan, read Longbourn! I've just finished it and it is amazing! Oh my god... I'm in love!
          Seriously it's so good.
Anyway, hope you're all good! I've got a few works in the pipeline, including a rework of the Time Flea. Keep an eye out for updates!
