i don’t want anyone to pretend that joshua bassett spoke up at all. there is no excuse at this point and it truly is sickening. he could’ve used his platform for such good and i’m quite heavily disappointed, but not too surprised. even if he releases something major about the situation, it won’t shield the fact the he never spoke up while he should’ve. it does make me really sad and i really don’t want to do this because this boy has brought me overwhelming joy on multiple occasions, but i just don’t feel as if it’s right to support someone like this. i let his shitty, half assed apology slide last time when it wasn’t even my place to forgive him, now i think he’s made his point across about how he feels regarding these type of situations.
