When I wrote these stories I was 11 and in a very tough spot in life. I started this page the summer of 2014, after I had finished fifth grade, which was an incredibly tough year for me. I was dealing with being a social outcast/weird kid/whatever you wanna call me and the subsequent bullying that comes with being a weirdo little girl. I didn't have the coping strategies to deal with all that plus the horrors of growing up and realizing that I wasn't really a kid anymore.

I was feeling disenfranchised with the adults in my life because it took so much crying and begging for them to take me seriously, and the effects of that school year still affect me all these years later. I feel like this is what drew me to creepypasta - a found family setting where I could pretend to kill my bullies (again, I was 11 and didn't have the skills to cope) and have friends, even a boyfriend, that supported me unconditionally. While there is probably a lot to unpack about my 11-year-old self's psyche I choose, as an adult now, to love and care for her like I would for my own students today. To all the 11-, and 12-, year olds reading this, you are not alone, and sometimes it's okay to fantasize about Jeff the Killer being there for you and sticking up for you.

Because these stories were written in 2014 by an 11 year old, they're not perfect. I went through a phase of hating them but I've grown a soft spot for them. There is sensitive content in these stories that I believe I've now tagged properly but I cannot say these topics were handled with care or tact. 

What I've written on this page is a piece of me from a time when I barely knew who I was. These are very near and dear to my heart and I hope you enjoy them, whether it's for "cringe", nostalgia, or in complete earnest. Godspeed, good luck, and GO. TO. SLEEP.
