Reciting Surat Al-Sajdah before sleeping and its virtues. On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, he said: [He would not sleep until he recited Surat Tanzil Al-Sajdah, and Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion][4]. The Prophet, peace be upon him, would recite certain supplications before sleeping, and recite surahs from the Holy Qur’an. Such as prostration and kingship, as the noble hadith shows that reading these two surahs, namely; Prostration and prayer, especially prostration, are among the things that the Prophet, peace be upon him, urged because of their virtues, so it is recommended to recite them every night before going to sleep[5]. Surah Al-Sajdah is a reminder to a person of resurrection, death, resurrection, and the reckoning of God Almighty. By reading it, a Muslim may review his deeds, remember what good and evil deeds he did during his day, and pledge himself to correct everything he did of eating away the rights of others and deeds that God displeases. God Almighty, and certainly the Muslim must be aware of the provisions of the Surah and follow it completely, in order to obtain the reward of reading. He must also learn from the stories contained in it, and avoid the evils and what God Almighty has forbidden, in addition to reciting Surat Al-Sajdah daily before sleeping, following the Sunnah. From the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
