they  aren’t  ‘ just ’  dreams,        (he  mutters  softly  with  distaste  directed  toward  the  subject)         they’re  barely  dreams  at  all.  jesus,  they’re  not  even  ALL  dreams.   it’s  exhausting

            “Ju.. no, stop that. I’m not gonna look at you differently just cuz of some stupid dreams you have.” Summer assured him. She moved down to press a tiny kiss to his forehead. “I’m here, always will be. Please trust me.”

i’m  not    [..]    that’s  not  what  i’m  doing.  it’s  just  a  lot.     [GOD]  it’s  a  lot  for  me  &  i  live  with  it  every  second  of  every  day.         besides,   it  would  make  you  look  at  me  differently.  i’m  not  sure  i’m  ready  for  that  from  you

what ?  NO,  no—  you  can     [uhm]    stay.  you  can  stay.          (he  takes  her  hand,  reacting  before  his  mind  catches   up)       please  don’t  mind  abby.  it’s  not  my  place  to  tell  you,  but  she’s  not  really  in  control  of  herself  like  half  the  time.  &  judging  by  the  silence,  she’s  gone  OUT,  not  to  her  room

            Summer flinched when the door slammed shut. She couldn’t help it — a leftover reaction. She let out a breath and glanced over to Julius. “Um.. maybe i should go. I, uh, have things to do at home anyway.”

it’s  none  of  your  business !          (the  red—head  snaps  from  a  distance,  not  quite  caring  how  rudely  she  comes  off)           me  &  juli’s  problems  aren’t  yours,  so  go— 
            
            abigail !       (julius  interrupts,  the  cross  look  directed  toward  her  resulting  in  what  looks  like  a  staring  contest)        fine.         (she  huffs  &  he  watches  her  storm  out,  the  front  door  slamming  shut.  he  rubs  his  temples)          it  isn’t  you  she’s  mad  at.  don’t  take  it  personal.

            “yay.” summer smiled, giving him a small hug as a sort of reward. “I promise, I’ll stay right here. I won’t move a muscle.”

(he  looks  at  her.  REALLY  looks  at  her.  deep  sea  eyes  soften,  sighing  softly)          fine.  fine,  you  win.

            “I also care about you having a job.” summer replied. she took one of his hands into her own. “I appreciate it, I really do. but don’t get in trouble for me. please?”

• an adopted kiddo — was born with the name roseanne 
            • her birth parents were with a cult who worshipped 9 families descended from witches
            • grew up listening to stories about the families, and basically knows them by heart even to this day
            • as a kid, though, she longed for a life outside of the cult. it got to the point where she’d be attempting to escape all the time and bringing home contraband
            • eventually, her parents decided she was possessed by a demon who was making her greedy and evil, which lead them to getting her exorcised and perform a ritual on her
            • somehow, during the ritual, summer would escape 
            • she eventually found herself at an orphanage. she was taken in, and soon after was adopted by the harris-jung family 

• her and toren’s parents aren’t good parents </3

• a photographer for hire
            • also has a part time job at a convenience store
            • lives with her brother, toren, in his apartment
            • very bright and lively
            • the extroverted person who often pushes toren socially
            • loves to bake when she isn’t working
